All About Me
Born in South Africa, I was privileged to start life in one of the most ethnic and culturally diverse countries. A childhood rooted in embracing diversity fostered my understanding of cultural awareness, and the importance of inclusion. This is reflected in my attributes of empathy, respect and ability to connect with people from all walks of life, echoed in my openness of spirit. My spare time is spent surfing, cold water swimming, meditating, wild camping, hiking, and practicing yoga

As an Honours Psychology graduate, with over a decade of experience in the field of psychology, including five years specifically focused on nurturing young people to thrive. My extensive training in psychological therapies, trauma informed practice, and mindfulness-based approaches, has contributed to a strong foundation of knowledge and experience in treatment formulation and evidence-based early intervention strategies.
With comprehensive understanding and knowledge of psychological theories, positive behavioral support and PACE therapeutic parenting, my core skills enable me to adapt therapeutic approaches, creating tailored positive behavior management plans, to support the unique needs of young people.
experienced in working with children and young people of all ages, including children with complex needs due to neurodevelopmental co-morbidities, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
